Taylor Swift is nearing a deal to perform at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, celebrity gossip site RadarOnline.com reports.

A source told Radar that Swift's team was approached by the NFL about the gig and the two sides are "working out the final details."

Interestingly, Swift is rumored to be mired in a feud with fellow pop star Katy Perry, the halftime performer at Super Bowl XLIX.

The NFL was criticized for asking Perry to pay to perform at the Super Bowl, reasoning that the publicity that comes with the performance is worth paying for. In the end, the two sides agreed to a deal that saw no money change hands.

Holding up a potential deal with Swift may be a similar disagreement about who should pay whom.

"(Swift's) just waiting on financials from the NFL before signing on the dotted line," Radar's source said.
