Hall of Fame defensive lineman Warren Sapp's downward spiral continues.

Sapp has been charged with three counts of domestic violence stemming from an April 28th incident involving his long-time girlfriend at a Las Vegas hotel, according to TMZ.

Citing the police report, TMZ reports that Sapp bit his girlfriend's middle finger, threw a belt at her and stepped on her face while wearing sandals. In addition to other acts of assault, Sapp reportedly left the victim with multiple injuries.

Sapp faces up to 18 months in prison and is expected in court on July 23.

Sapp was cited for soliciting and assault of multiple prostitutes in February. He was subsequently fired from his job as an analyst for the NFL Network.
