Report: Browns remain in contact with Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon may not have played his final game for the Cleveland Browns.

While many feel his time in Cleveland is done after being suspended for the first 10 games of 2014 and at least the 2015 season, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that the team is still in contact with the receiver.

The league permits teams to speak to players suspended for an entire year through a player-engagement representative, and the Browns have little to lose at this point by keeping tabs on Gordon.

If Gordon has a miraculous turnaround and gets his life in order, Cleveland could decide to give him another shot. When he's been able to stay on the field, Gordon has proven to be one of the league's elite receivers - his 1,600 yards receiving in 2013 will attest to that.
