From Selhurst Park to Borussia-Park.

Borussia Monchengladbach signed 17-year-old winger Mandela Egbo from Crystal Palace on Tuesday, as the teenage prodigy put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

Egbo, who made his debut for Crystal Palace's under-18 side at only 15 years old, and made 15 appearances for England at various age groups, will play for Monchengladbach's under-23 squad in the upcoming season.

"We are very happy that Mandela decided to play for us," Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl said. "He can play on the right wing both offensively and defensively. Now he has the possibility to rise up through the ranks of the U23 squad and make (it) into the first team."
