Sergio Perez: Remains on form

Perez finished second at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 race at the Baku City Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

Perez began the race second on the grid but got a great start to beat Charles Leclerc to the first corner to take the lead. He failed to pit under a virtual safety car on lap 7, which may have ultimately cost him the chance for a victory over teammate Max Verstappen. Nevertheless, Perez has been in excellent form of late finishing second twice in the last three races while winning once. He currently sits second in the driver championship, behind only Verstappen by 21 points.
