Rochester will wear the home white jerseys and Syracuse will wear the road blues. The uniforms will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to charity. The umpires will don hockey referee jerseys during the game.
Two members of the U.S. squad - defenseman Mike Ramsey and forward John Harrington - will attend, while at least one other player is expected to be added at a later date.
The 1980 U.S team, made up of amateur and collegiate players, upset the heavily favored Soviet Union 4-3 and later defeated Finland to win the gold medal.
