Desherrius Flowers, a four-star member of the recruiting class of 2015, won't be cleared for enrollment at Alabama this fall due to a "recently discovered initial eligibility issue," according to a release by the university.
A running back from Vigor High School in Prichard, Ala., Flowers is ranked as the No. 104 overall recruit in the 2015 class by ESPN.
The university also announced that sophomore defensive back Jonathan Cook will not be back on the team this upcoming season. No reason was specified.
Cook was a three-star member of the 2013 recruiting class.
