Broncos' Danny Trevathan: 'I've got somebody else's kneecap'

Many players undergo minor offseason procedures to clean up injuries, but there was nothing minor about what Denver Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan went through.
Trevathan had kneecap replacement surgery in January to fix a problem he's been dealing with since birth.

The 25-year-old dislocated his knee in December, ending his season. He told reporters Wednesday that he's still limited on contact when it comes to his knee.
With Wade Phillips bringing his 3-4 defense to town this year, it will be paramount for Trevathan to acclimate himself to the new scheme throughout the offseason.
