NBA adding single-game, individual team options to League Pass next season

Changes are coming to NBA League Pass in the form of more personalized options for fans.

The league announced Tuesday that as of the 2015-16 season, single games and individual team packages will be added to the traditional League Pass subscription options.

The single-game feature will allow fans to choose specific games to watch on each given night during the season, while the team feature allows them to follow one team throughout the season.

Under the current format, subscribers could choose between a full-season package plan or a five-team subscription. The full-season plan, which provides users with nearly 1,000 live, out of market games each year, will still be available in addition to the new options.

The new options will be available to broadband and mobile users, with further details related to cost and how to purchase the packages to be revealed next month.

League Pass has long been plagued by complaints of poor streaming service and a lack of selection in terms of subscription options. At least one of those concerns appears to have been addressed heading into next season.
