Kyle Busch: Third in GEICO 500

Busch finished third in the GEICO 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Busch bucked his recent bad luck trend in superspeedway racing and delivered a great performance Sunday in Talladega. The driver of the No.18 Toyota led 3 laps and raced among the leaders for most of the event. On the last lap he'd tuck in behind Austin Dillon and ride through the storm of contact coming to the finish. Busch would collect his third Top-5 finish of the season and first Talladega Top 5 since 2017.
