Hamilton Tiger-Cats running back Mossis Madu will miss the entire 2015 season, according to Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator.

The 27-year-old sustained a shoulder injury this week during training camp and will require surgery.

Just ahead of the confirmation on Wednesday that Madu is out for the season, the Tiger-Cats announced they have signed running back Michael Ford.

Ford, 25, signed as an undrafted free agent with the NFL's Chicago Bears in April 2013 and played 12 games but was released from the team in August of the following year.

Hamilton continues their training camp on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. ET at Ron Joyce Stadium. Their second pre-season game is on June 19 in Winnipeg against the Blue Bombers.
