There will be new voices aplenty behind the Edmonton Oilers' bench next season.
The club announced Thursday that Keith Acton and Craig Ramsay, former assistants to Dallas Eakins and Todd Nelson, have been relieved of their coaching duties with the organization.
The decision keeps Nelson - who took over the bench at the time of Eakins' dismissal - in contention to serve on Todd McLellan's new-look staff.
Jay Woodcroft, who worked in tandem with McLellan during his seven seasons with the San Jose Sharks, is expected to join the Oilers.
