Upgrades all around.

The Edmonton Oilers, who have already seen a restructuring of their front office and coaching staff with the hirings of CEO Bob Nicholson, general manager Peter Chiarelli, and head coach Todd McLellan are shifting their rebuild to the ice.

ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reported on Thursday's edition of TSN's "Insider Trading" that the team is interested in acquiring a new goaltender.

The Ottawa Senators' Robin Lehner, Anaheim Ducks' John Gibson, and New York Rangers' Cam Talbot are all of interest to the Oilers.

"It's believed that the Edmonton Oilers ... are among several teams that have expressed interest in Lehner," said LeBrun. "Edmonton, by the way, has also called Anaheim on John Gibson and they have interest in Cam Talbot."

Lehner, 23, only appeared in 25 games for the Senators last season, posting a 9-12-3 record with a goals-against average of 3.02 and a save percentage of .905.

He's recently been given medical clearance to return to action after issues with a concussion and comes with a cap hit of $2.2 million over the next two seasons.

The 21-year-old Gibson backed up Frederik Andersen in Anaheim last season, earning a record of 13-8-0 with a GAA of 2.60 and a save percentage of .914 and is set to earn $721,666 next season before becoming a restricted free agent.

Talbot entered the spotlight for the Rangers after starter Henrik Lundqvist went down with a sprained blood vessel in his throat.

The 27-year-old posted an impressive 21-9-4 record with a GAA of 2.21 and a save percentage of .926, while earning a salary of $1.45 million.

LeBrun also noted that the San Jose Sharks are "circling" on the same goaltenders the Oilers are interested in, so they better act fast if they want to land their guy.
