Christopher Bell: Pennzoil 400 Pole

Bell won the pole for the Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 182.673 mph.

Bell stood tall for Toyota. The young driver beat out a number of Ford and Chevrolet drivers to claim the top starting spot for Sunday's race at Las Vegas. Bell edged Kyle Larson to claim his first pole position of the season and the first of his career. The driver of the No. 20 Toyota looks like a good bet to crack the Top 5 in Sunday's Pennzoil 400.
