In the last calendar year, more people had served as commissioner of Major League Baseball than had hit home runs off Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman heading into Wednesday's game at Citizens Bank Park.

On Wednesday night, though, Philadelphia Phillies rookie Maikel Franco did the unthinkable when he clobbered a game-tying, three run-homer off the 27-year-old left-hander in the bottom of the ninth inning - the first homer Chapman has surrendered since May 13, 2014.

Recalled from Triple-A last month, Franco's fourth homer of the campaign snapped Chapman's streak of 298 consecutive batters faced without surrendering a homer. Chapman, a three-time All-Star, was also charged with his first blown save of the season in an eventual 5-4 victory for the Phillies.
