Report: 49ers' Bruce Miller to rejoin team after pleading no contest to misdemeanor
San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller is expected to report to OTAs this week after sitting out all team workouts following an incident involving his former fiancee earlier this offseason, according to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.
Miller was arrested in March on suspicion of spousal abuse, but he later had the charge reduced to misdemeanor vandalism for allegedly throwing his ex-fiancee's cell phone against a wall.
The 27-year-old pleaded no contest to a charge of disturbing the peace Tuesday, agreeing to attend a 16-week domestic violence counseling course.
As is the case with all off-field incidents, the NFL will review Miller's case and decide on any potential discipline now that the legal process has taken its course.
Miller has spent his entire four-year career in San Francisco, appearing in all but three regular-season games over that span.
