Kings' Carl Landry out 4-5 months after wrist surgery
Carl Landry cannot catch a break.
The Sacramento Kings power forward underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist and is expected to miss 4-5 months, the team announced.
Landry is no stranger to injuries. He has appeared in just 88 games since signing a 4-year, $26-million deal with the Kings in 2013.
Carl Landry has had surgery for a torn hip flexor, knee and torn wrist ligament all since signing before last season.

When healthy, Landry is a solid bench big who is unafraid of banging with bigger foes in the post. Two seasons ago, he averaged 10.8 points and six rebounds per game while shooting 54 percent from the field as a member of the Golden State Warriors.
However, injuries and age have cut down on Landry's effectiveness, and he's averaged just 6.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game since.
