The Chicago Blackhawks' 5-3 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 7 of the Western Conference Final drew record-setting ratings in the United States.

Despite the Blackhawks jumping out to a 4-0 lead midway through the second period, the game drew a 3.3 overnight rating on NBC.

The Ducks never got within one goal of the Blackhawks in the decisive contest, but that didn't stop Los Angeles-area viewers from tuning in.

The game set a local record with a 3.9 overnight rating in L.A., the second-highest ever for a Ducks game on the NBC networks.

In Chicago, the win drew a 26.6 overnight rating, representing the highest ever for a non-Cup Final Blackhawks game on NBC and the third-highest overall.

The Blackhawks face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Final beginning Wednesday night at Amalie Arena.
