VIDEO: Cormier and Bader get into a brouhaha at the UFC 187 post-fight press conference
It didn't take long for Daniel Cormier to line up the first contender for his newly-earned light heavyweight crown.
During the post-fight press conference for UFC 187 on Saturday night, Cormier used some salty language to describe Ryan Bader, who had been campaigning for a title shot of his own prior to the event. Cormier's verbal jabs caused Bader to make his way toward the stage in a brilliant piece of potential pre-fight promotion that the UFC will no doubt exploit during a build up to this eventual fight.
Bader and Cormier were set to clash at a Fight Night event in New Orleans on June 6, but Jon Jones' legal issues and subsequent suspension thrust Cormier into a light heavyweight title fight against No. 1 contender Anthony Johnson.
Cormier, of course, won the bout by submission, setting up a potential title fight with Bader at some point later in 2015.
