Lewis Hamilton: Fast FP2 at Abu Dhabi

Mercedes' Hamilton set the fastest time in the second practice session of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix while his championship rival Max Verstappen was fourth for Red Bull, Formula1.com reports.

Lap times picked up in this second practice for the season finale. Hamilton climbed from third-fastest in the first session to atop the scoring pylon in P2. The Team Mercedes star laid down a stellar lap of 1:23.691 in the evening air at Abu Dhabi. He was 0.343-seconds clear of Esteban Ocon in second-place. Hamilton is fine-tuning for a run at the checkers and championship Sunday in the Abu Dhabi GP.
