Providence's Paschal Chukwu to transfer

Providence is losing their big man.

Paschal Chukwu is set to transfer from the Friars, the school announced Monday.

"I would like to wish Paschal success in his future plans," said head coach Ed Cooley. "He helped us have a successful season in 2014-15 and advance to the NCAA Tournament."

The 7-foot-2 center averaged 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in his freshman season. After sitting out next season because of NCAA transfer rules, Chukwu will have three years of eligibility left.
