VIDEO: Staged Hawks-Wizards Kiss Cam ends with beer dumped on bystanders
Sometimes, the passion burns just a little too hot for the good of the collective.
We should all be so lucky to experience a love like that, but for those who can't, they need to be wary of lovers around them. Two unsuspecting fans at Game 5 between the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards learned that the hard way on Wednesday, as the embers of nearby ardor left them scalded.
Or covered in beer, rather.
Lovers in a dangerous time.
The Kiss Cam is a bit of an antiquated in-stadium trope, but it's occasionally good for a chuckle. Assuming the offenders were kind enough to help the victims clean up - and maybe buy them a repentant beverage - this serves as an example.
Of course, it's also glaringly obvious that this was staged, as no person could possibly be that egregiously careless with their beer - watch closely, and she's basically pouring it on the people in front of them, who don't exactly react as you'd expected. Still, it probably gave the Fortress Phillips crowd a laugh.
