Hulk padded his lead among the Russian Premier League's top scorers with a vintage goal that helped Zenit St. Petersburg record its 19th win Sunday.
The intimidating Brazilian was always going to have a shot on goal when Zenit were awarded a free-kick just outside the right corner of the Rostov box. Even goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa likely knew what was coming, but his efforts proved futile.
Hulk calmly assessed the wall and the 'keeper's position before thumping a lightning-quick shot that smacked off Pletikosa's hand and in for the Zenit forward's second goal.
He now boasts 15 goals through 27 matches for the league-leaders.
