GIF: Delmon Young robs A-Rod of historic home run
At almost any other park, Alex Rodriguez's first-inning fly ball would have been a routine out.
Instead, Baltimore Orioles outfielder Delmon Young can say he caught Rodriguez's career homer No. 661.
Young, who entered the game having stole just one potential home run in 823 career games in the outfield, played Rodriguez's lazy fly ball to perfection, leaping up at just the right time to prevent A-Rod's milestone blast from clearing the short porch in right at Yankee Stadium.
