Warriors' Stephen Curry eyes amateur golf victory in June

With the NBA MVP in the bag already, Stephen Curry has his sights set on another victory ... at the California State Amateur.
The Golden State Warriors point guard has signed up for the tournament's qualifying game on June 1, according to SFGate's Ron Kroichick.
It will make for a tight time frame for Curry to practice his swing. If Golden State eliminates the Memphis Grizzlies in the semifinals, the Warriors will start the conference finals between May 17 and 19, and the NBA Finals begin on June 4.
Anyone who has watched Curry play golf knows that he is more than capable of earning a victory. His father first started him in the sport, Curry told SportsGrid, and he spent three years on his high school's golf team.
