In his postgame press conference, Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien said an offside should have been called.

"It's really frustrating, losing a game on an offside. Those things aren't supposed to happen," Therrien said of the non-call. "To lose a game on an offside ... it's black or white, and it was clearly an offside."
The Canadiens host the Lightning in Game 2 on Sunday.
