The San Diego Chargers have moved up to 15th overall after swapping picks with the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chargers went on to select running back Melvin Gordon out of Wisconsin in an effort to upgrade a running game that struggled to find traction under former first-round pick Ryan Mathews, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason.
The 49ers will receive the Chargers 17th overall and fourth-round pick this year, in addition to a fifth-round pick in 2016.
