This isn't how Christian Ehrhoff pictured his time with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Clearing out his locker after a short playoff run he wasn't able to contribute to, the defenseman told reporters he suffered multiple concussions this season, saying a setback kept him from being able to suit up during the series against the New York Rangers.

The impending unrestricted free agent, who signed a one-year deal with the Penguins last summer, added he has yet to speak to his agent about his future.

Ehrhoff was limited to 49 regular-season games with Pittsburgh, scoring three goals and adding 11 assists.
