New York Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello left Friday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins after being hit in the head by a shot.
Zuccarello left Game 5 in the first period after being struck in the helmet by a shot off the stick of teammate Ryan McDonagh.
The Rangers forward did not take the ice for the second period and the team ruled him out for the remainder of the game shortly thereafter.
He was evaluated after the game, but no further update on his condition was provided.
