Jaromir Jagr is coming out of international retirement to play on home ice.
Jagr was one of 28 players named to the Czech Republic's entry in the upcoming World Hockey Championship on Friday.
The tournament begins May 1 in Prague.
The 43-year-old Florida Panthers forward has already practiced with the national team and played in their exhibition victory over Finland.
He retired from international competition after last year's tournament. The Czech Republic lost 3-0 to Sweden in the bronze medal game.
Jagr signed a one-year contract extension with the Panthers earlier this month.
Winnipeg Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec will also represent the Czech Republic in the tournament, which runs until May 17.
