Report: Steelers' Antonio Brown skipping voluntary workouts, considering holdout

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown won't attend voluntary workouts with his teammates this week, FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports.

More importantly, Brown will reportedly consider staying away from the Steelers' mandatory minicamp later this spring as he seeks a revised contract.

Brown signed a six-year, $43-million contract extension before the 2012 season. He's due to earn $6 million in 2015, but can make a strong case that he's underpaid after leading the NFL in receiving a year ago.

The Steelers are tight against the salary cap, as usual, so Brown may have a hard time coaxing more money out of his team. This has the look of a standoff that could continue into training camp.
