Daniel Sturridge is reportedly doubtful for Liverpool's FA Cup semifinal versus Aston Villa on Sunday.
According to the Guardian, Sturridge - who suffered a hip injury in the previous round of the competition against Blackburn Rovers - is struggling to return to fitness and hasn't yet returned to first-team training.
The 25-year-old forward's injury-plagued season saw him spend over five months on the sidelines due to numerous thigh and calf problems, and his latest injury provides yet another setback for Liverpool after manager Brendan Rodgers said that Sturridge felt "reasonably fine" earlier in the week.
Sturridge's string of injuries have limited him to only four goals in 12 Premier League appearances this season.
