Bulls' Gibson leaves season finale with shoulder strain, says he'll be ready for playoffs

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

It wouldn't be a regular-season finale without a banged-up Chicago Bull.

Power forward Taj Gibson left Wednesday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks with a strained left shoulder. He did not return. After the game, he said he received a cortisone shot, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

He added he'll be ready to go against the Milwaukee Bucks in round one.

Gibson has battled ankle issues all season long, but had shoulder soreness going into Wednesday's final regular-season game.
