Magic sit down Harris, Fournier in finale against Nets

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Orlando Magic will sit forward Tobias Harris and shooting guard Evan Fournier in Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

The fact it's the Magic season finale is one reason, however, with the Nets fighting to get into the playoffs, the absence of Orlando's third- and fourth-leading scorers is a bonus for Brooklyn.

Harris is listed as having a sore Achilles, while Fournier only played in two of the Magic's last 22 games with a hip injury.

The Nets need a win in Orlando and for the Indiana Pacers to lose against the Memphis Grizzlies in order to snag the eighth and final playoff spot in the East.
