Defenseman Cody Franson will miss Game 1 against the Chicago Blackhawks due to a lingering upper-body injury.
In 23 games after being traded to Nashville by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Franson recorded one goal, three assists and 35 shots, averaging 15:25 of ice time per game.
