Alex Ovechkin's Washington Capitals have clinched a playoff berth, but that doesn't mean he's taking Saturday off.

The superstar forward added to his league-leading goal total by blasting home a one-timer on the power play to cut into the New York Rangers' lead.

It was Ovechkin's 53rd, giving him a 10-goal cushion on Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos. Ovechkin now has 25 power-play goals in 80 games.
