Lance Stephenson joins Hornets' lengthy injury report Wednesday

The Charlotte Hornets already faced an uphill climb to get back into the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Injuries continue to make it even tougher.

The Hornets, already without Al Jefferson, center Cody Zeller, and small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, have ruled out swingman Lance Stephenson for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors.

Stephenson, who has had a nightmare debut season in Charlotte and has recorded multiple DNP-CD's recently, will be held out with a sprained toe on his right foot.

Zeller will miss an 11th straight game with a shoulder injury, while Kidd-Gilchrist is sitting out a seventh consecutive contest with a sprained ankle.

Jefferson, meanwhile, is out until at least Friday due to lingering right knee soreness that could end his season.
