One Direction's Niall Horan to caddie for Rory McIlroy at Masters Par-3 Contest
The large gallery of spectators that would have inevitably followed Rory McIlroy at Wednesday's Par-3 contest at Augusta is about to get a whole lot bigger.
McIlroy will have fellow Northern Irishman and One Direction member Niall Horan caddie for him in the annual Masters Par-3 Contest on Wednesday.
"He's been excited to come here," McIlroy told reporters. "He's never been to the Masters. I caught up with him in Australia at the end of last year and he was really excited, and I said, 'If you're available Wednesday afternoon and you want to carry the bag for nine holes, you're more than welcome.'
"He's excited to be here and (I'm) looking forward to spending a bit of time with him out there tomorrow."
McIlroy and Horan won't be the only stars on hand for the Par-3 contest. Tiger Woods will compete for the first time since 2004. Both of his children will serve as his caddies.
