Injunction prevents 'Rampage' Jackson from competing at UFC 186

Originally scheduled to face Fabio Maldonado on April 25, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's return to the Octagon will have to wait, after an injunction filed by Bellator MMA to prevent him from competing was granted by a New Jersey judge.
According to Bellator president Scott Coker, Jackson is still under exclusive contract with the promotion. Jackson claimed that a breach of contract allowed him to terminate their deal and defect to the UFC.
The granting of an injunction doesn't necessarily mean Bellator will win an eventual court case, it only prevents Jackson from fighting on the April pay-per-view.
Since UFC 186 was announced, a bantamweight title fight between T.J. Dillashaw and Renan Barao was pulled after Dillashaw suffered a rib injury, and a featured welterweight clash between Rory MacDonald and Hector Lombard was cancelled after Lombard flunked a drug screening.
With the cancellation of Jackson versus Maldonado, a great pay-per-view card has been reduced to rubble.
