Cam Newton is considered by some to be the NFL's first of several modern mobile quarterbacks, a group of dual-threat zone-read passers that also includes Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. 

Now Newton's at the cutting edge of the sport again. This time, he's testing a revolutionary padding system that could dramatically reduce player injuries.
