Nowitzki becomes 7th player in NBA history to score 28K career points
Dirk Nowitzki keeps adding milestones to his immaculate resume.
The sweet-shooting German became the seventh player in NBA history to score 28,000 career points in Wednesday's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Nowitzki, who recently became the seventh player in league history with 10,000 rebounds and 27,000 points, should at the very least leapfrog Shaquille O'Neal on the all-time scoring list before his illustrious career comes to an end.
