Report: Saints could remain active on trade market

The New Orleans Saints have been among the NFL's busiest teams so far this offseason, and they may not be done overhauling their roster just yet.

Despite already having dealt star tight end Jimmy Graham, promising young wide receiver Kenny Stills and veteran guard Ben Grubbs, the Saints are looking to remain active on the trade market leading up to the draft, according to Peter King of MMQB.com.

As King suggests, potential deals to come could involve standout defensive end Cameron Jordan and six-time Pro Bowl guard Jahri Evans.

Similar to the players already traded away, parting with Jordan and/or Evans would land the Saints both some substantial salary-cap relief and key draft-pick compensation that can be utilized to readdress the roster needs created.

While continuing to deal such experienced and proven talent would generally be taken as a sign of a complete organizational rebuild, the Saints at least appear to believe they can make another postseason run by moving on from some veteran players and putting together a strong draft class.

Whether or not they continue to shock the football world with blockbuster trades, the Saints should remain one of the most intriguing teams to watch up to and throughout the 2015 campaign.
