Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Jason Garrison left Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings in the first period after crashing into the boards, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Analysis:
Garrison was able to skate off the ice under his own power, but was sent to the locker room immediately. He hasn't been ruled out of Saturday's game just yet, and should be viewed as day-to-day until the team issues an update on his condition.
