Michigan State transfer Eron Harris to watch Final Four from a distance

Eron Harris won't be sitting alongside his new teammates ahead of Saturday's Final Four showdown against Duke - but you can rest assured he'll be watching.

The new Michigan State guard, who recently transferred from West Virginia, isn't allowed to travel with the Spartans per an NCAA rule. With that in mind, the Indianapolis native is still heading to his hometown to watch the Final Four game on TV wherever his friends and family will be.

"Doesn't matter as long as I've got my people there," Harris said.

While Harris will have to wait until next year for his eligibility at Michigan State to kick in, he's happy for what his team has been able to accomplish.

"I have so much love, I love these guys," Harris said. "I got tears of happiness, because I'm happy that they won this and they got this opportunity. But at the same time, happy for myself too, being a part of this."
