The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with free-agent linebacker Casey Matthews.
"It’s great to be here," Matthews told Craig Peters of Vikings.com. "I’m looking forward to a new opportunity and a new chapter in my life."
Matthews spent the first four campaigns of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, and recorded 31.5 tackles and 1.5 sacks last season.
The 26-year-old has played at both inside and outside linebacker, but is much better suited to playing inside.
