Thunder's Roberson leaves game with apparent ankle injury, will not return

The injury bug has hit the Oklahoma City Thunder yet again, as Andre Roberson was forced from Sunday's game against the Miami Heat early in the first quarter after suffering an apparent ankle injury.

Roberson limped off the court and was helped to the locker room. He will not return, reports Royce Young of ESPN.

Through 61 games, Roberson has been a steady contributor as a gritty wing defender. He hasn't been much of a scorer, but his rebounding and shutdown defense has helped provide a dose of reliability on the Thunder's offense-first wing rotation.
