Suns' Knight remains out with ankle sprain, Len returns

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

With their playoff hopes hanging on by a thread, the Phoenix Suns will once again take the court without their prized deadline acquisition.

Guard Brandon Knight is going to miss his fifth consecutive game Saturday with a left ankle sprain. Knight's played 10 games since joining the Suns in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 14.5 points and 4.5 assists.

The Suns, three games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for the final playoff in the Western Conference, have gone 3-1 without Knight ahead of Saturday's difficult assignment versus the Houston Rockets. They enter the day 10th in the West.

With 13 contests remaining in their season, the Suns have a mere 1.7 percent chance of leapfrogging the Thunder and getting in, according to ESPN's playoff odds.

Phoenix will, however, get Alex Len back for the contest. The second-year center is starting after missing the team's last two games with an ankle injury of his own. He's averaging 6.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 21.7 minutes per game.
