Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira set for UFC 190

In a rematch 10 years in the making, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua is set to face Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC 190 in August.

The two veterans faced each other in the quarterfinals of the PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix in 2005, with Shogun emerging victorious via unanimous decision after a back-and-forth instant classic.

After undergoing multiple knee surgeries, it appears father time is already catching up to the 33-year-old Shogun. He's lost four of his last five fights, and was decisively finished by Dan Henderson and Ovince St. Preux in his last two trips to the Octagon.

Nogueira has also been slowed by injuries over the past few years, compiling a 2-3 record over his last five bouts, with victories over Tito Ortiz and Rashad Evans, and losses to Anthony Johnson, Phil Davis and Ryan Bader.

UFC 190 takes place on Aug. 1 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, and features a women's bantamweight title clash between Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia as the main event.
