Bracket Buster: Boring people did well Friday, only 1 perfect bracket remains
You know who did well with their brackets on Friday? Boring people, that's who. Favorites won 15 of Friday's 16 games to follow up an insane Thursday slate that effectively busted most brackets.
And yet, there is still one perfect bracket out there, on ESPN.
The issue, of course, is that it has almost no chance of remaining perfect. That's not just because of basic math, but because the user, Malaqulas4394, has a Duke-Kansas final that ends 58-0 for Duke. Something tells us there are biases at play here.
1 perfect bracket remaining left among ESPN & Yahoo. If Duke wins title, 58-0, this dude has a Grays Sports Almanac. pic.twitter.com/DD5V5Jtdxe

Over at Yahoo, all brackets had a loss on the docket as of the tournament's 27th game, while CBS has also ruled out any remaining flawless sheets. Millions have played and there is one person left ... with a 58-0 final.
As unlikely as a perfect bracket is - the odds are 1 in 9.2 quintillion - it cost Yahoo a reported $11 million to insure against its $1-billion prize for a perfect bracket.
And hey, there's still technically a chance. Root for Malaqulas4394. Root for entropy.
