Hugo Lloris leaves match vs. Leicester City with apparent injury

Hugo Lloris didn't even last a minute before he was forced to leave Tottenham's match against Leicester City with an injury.

The French 'keeper suffered an injury in the first minute of Saturday's contest when he collided with teammate Kyle Walker inside the Tottenham box. Lloris had to be stretchered off and was replaced by Michel Vorm.

Lloris, who was selected to play in a pair of friendly matches for France later this month, suffered the injury when he raced off the line to challenge a through ball to Leicester's Jamie Vardy before clashing with Walker.

The team have yet to comment on the exact nature of the injury, but it appears Lloris may be forced to miss some matches because of the visible pain he was in.

It would be a massive blow to Tottenham's Champions League ambitions if Lloris is forced to miss an extended period of time. He's appeared in every league match and is widely considered one of the top 'keepers in the Premier League.
